KITCHENS SAFETY POSTERS AVAILABLE ONLINE
A series of 6 posters on health and safety risks in industrial
kitchens is now available online. The safety posters remind workers
about the importance of guards and safeguards, proper lifting
techniques, safe clean-up of spills, treatment of burns, and safe
use of chemical cleaners.

This policy provides guidance on how WCB officers will exercise
their powers in situations where there are jurisdictional limits
on their powers because of certain federal or provincial legislation.

overhead patient/resident track lift system and actions required
by employers, lift suppliers, installers, and workers to prevent

OF THE REGULATION THAT APPLY TO FRAME SCAFFOLDING
The Health and Safety Centre now has a list of sections of the
Occupational Health and Safety Regulation that have been identified
as being most relevant to frame scaffolding. Other sections of
the Workers Compensation Act or OHS Regulation may also apply
to your workplace. This compilation does not exempt you from the
other sections of the OHS Regulation that may apply to your workplace.
