Day of Mourning, April 28, 2005
The WCB, the B.C. Federation of Labour, and the Business Council of British Columbia will co-host a public ceremony at the Workers' Memorial in the Sanctuary at Hastings Park in Vancouver at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2005. Please join us to commemorate lives lost as a result of workplace injury or occupational disease. |

The BC Faller Training Standard is a training and certification program for fallers developed by the forest industry, the IWA, and the WCB to meet the requirements of section 26.22 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation. Fallers with more than 2 years’ experience may challenge the Standard directly but must be certified by July 31, 2005. |
